Category: Sundry Health Lines
A Natural Thickening Agent. A substitute for eggs. Use to thicken stews, soups and savoury dishes.
TO USE AS AN EGG REPLACEMENT IN RECIPES: To replace the binding properties of 4 eggs add 8 Tbsps Potato Starch to 1 cup water. Blend and add to recipe.
AS A THICKENER: Put +/- 2-3 Tbsps Potato Starch in a cup. Stir in enough cold water to get a thick cream-like consistency. Stir this liquid into the mixture you wish to thicken until the desired consistency is attained.
