Nature’s Choice Gluten-Free Dream Scones is an easy-to-prepare pre-mix that gives you the opportunity to create you own home baked scrumptious scones. Enjoy them hot out of your own oven with toppings of your choice. A great tea-time treat to share with family and friends. Now it is possible for you to enjoy a wheat- and gluten-free product prepared by you – fresh and home baked. Completely natural without any added preservatives.
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 200 c and grease an oven tray. 2. Place Dream Scones Mixture in a mixing bowl. 3. Rub 60g (2 tablespoons) butter into the mixture using your fingers until it is well incorporated with the flour. 4. In a small bowl, beat 2 eggs with half cup filtered water. 5. Add egg mixture to flour mixture and mix with a fork just until mixture comes together-it is very important not to over-mix at this stage. 6. Sprinkle a work surface generously with rice flour 7. Turn scone mixture out on floured surface and flatten with hands to about 5cm thick. 8. Cut rounds with cookie cutter and place on oven tray and brush with beaten egg. 9. Bake for 20minutes until golden brown.
