Why Shop with Nature’s Choice?
Nature’s Choice traces its roots back to 1985 when the company was founded as the retail arm of the Natural Health Foundation. We strive tirelessly to harvest the basic purity in the way that it was intended, to produce foods that are nourishing, uncompromised and unerringly pure. It is our duty to respect this natural order and to work with the earth, as we are a part of it and our bodies are designed to derive their full potential from it.
Our Vision is to be the standard bearers and benchmark of an infinitely healthier way of living because we believe that “the right thing will prevail’, always. So much can be done and so much can be prevented and cured by adhering to this basic law of the land.
What sets Nature’s Choice apart?
Ethics and integrity form part of our cornerstones. We are honest, sincere and pride ourselves in being human, informative, intelligent, positive, purpose-driven and staying relevant in a pure and simple manner which is key to our values.
Nature’s Choice carries the most extensive range of wholefoods and has been trusted since 1985 for bringing our consumers the best quality. Nature’s Choice also invests in the processes and checks that are needed to certify our products through Internationally Accredited KIWA BCS Organic as well as Kosher and Halaal.
What is your ingredient policy?
Our mission is to make eating healthily more accessible to everyone. We try lead with natural and good-for-you ingredients, avoiding added refined sugars or processed ingredients wherever possible, all while keeping our products delicious and consumer friendly.
Are all your products vegan?
We are always careful to specify which of our products are vegetarian and which are vegan-friendly (you can see which it is when you view a product on our website or as marked on our packaging). If the product is vegetarian, that means it contains an animal by-product, for example dairy, eggs, beeswax, propolis etc.
Which of your products are gluten free?
All Nature’s Choice products that are gluten free compliant carry a clear “gluten free” icon on the packaging itself, as well as being viewable on the product pages of our website.
How do I place an order through the website?
What are my payment options?
You will be prompted to make payment by the following methods:
The following bank cards are accepted on the Site: Visa, MasterCard and Maestro.
What are my delivery options?
Orders can be couriered to the vast majority of South African addresses, delivered via courier.
Delivery via courier has two advantages:
Unfortunately we cannot offer courier delivery to remote areas e.g. remote farms or mines.
How long does delivery take?
We dispatch all orders, unless otherwise stated within one working day of receiving payment confirmation. If you pay via credit card we receive payment confirmation automatically as soon as you’ve paid. If you pay via EFT or bank deposit, your order will only be dispatched within 24 hours of your payment clearing.
Courier delivery takes 2 to 5 working days depending on the order’s destination.
Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays. If you live in a main city centre, your order will take between 2-5 days. If you live in a remote area it could take up to 7 days. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team if you wish to get a more exact estimate.
Unforeseen circumstances e.g. adverse weather, closed roads, strikes etc. could prolong the delivery time. This is rare but it does happen, so ‘late’ delivery is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order. However if your delivery has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.
What is the cost of delivery?
If your shopping bag’s total is R500 or more we are happy to offer you free delivery in the main metropolitan areas of South Africa.
Our system will offer you the appropriate charge based on your delivery address during the checkout process. If the courier service option is not displayed it means that you want your order delivered to a remote area where we can unfortunately not offer delivery via courier service. If delivery is to a main centre and you are not offered the courier delivery option please contact us so that we can double check if the service is available for your post code and we can update our system.
Please note that free shipping does not apply if the cost of shipping exceeds 50% of the total Rand value of your basket. e.g. If your basket is R700.00 incl. VAT and your shipping cost is R380.00 incl. VAT, then the shipping will be charged based on the packaged order’s weight/dimension, as well as street postal code.
What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?
We carry a large stock holding in our warehouse which we are constantly restocking. However it is possible that you will order a product that we are out of stock of. If this happens we will contact you within one working day to notify you and to give you options e.g. swop for another similar product etc. Rest assured that we will always do our best to get the products you desire to you as soon as possible and that you will always be in the loop with how your order is progressing.
Where does Nature’s Choice deliver to?
We deliver to any address in South Africa, with the exception of remote areas like mines etc.
What happens if there is no one home when a courier delivery is attempted?
Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, so you should always provide a delivery address where there will be an appropriate person to sign for the delivery during these times. If there is no one around to accept the delivery, the courier company will contact the recipient via telephone so that a new delivery day can be arranged.
Do I have to receive a courier delivery personally?
If you are utilising contactless pay-on-delivery, you will receive a pin that will be used as confirmation. If you are not available at the delivery site, anyone at the delivery address can accept the delivery. In order for us to prove that delivery of an order has been completed, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery. We are also able to provide GPS co-ordinates if you would like vehicle tracking for proof.
Can I track my order?
We will email you your parcel’s tracking information the first working day after we send it e.g. if the parcel’s leaves our premises on Tuesday you will receive your tracking information via email on Wednesday morning. You can then track your parcel on the courier website.
Do you deliver overseas?
We do not currently offer overseas delivery in our checkout process, however you are welcome to select the delivery method, collect yourself, and then get your own courier to collect your order for international delivery. Please contact us if you are unsure of how to go about this.
