Popcorn promotes healthy bowel action and is more nutritious than most people think. The healthiest way to pop corn is in a hot air popper. This corn will also pop in a microwave, but we do not recommend the use of microwave ovens for anything other than the warming of plates. Popped corn can be chopped in a blender and used as a base for home-made cereals or for stuffing. It is a fine food to include in the school lunch.
