Basmati Rice is an Eastern favourite. Brown Basmati Rice is an unrefined product. It is rich in Dietary Fibre, Minerals and Vitamins. Removing the bran layer in polishing, also takes away with it the essential nutrients which are present in the bran layer.
Chinese Rice: Saute’ together with finely chopped onion and green or red pepper. Add scrambled egg, cooked peas, cooked rice and salt to taste. Saute’ for a few more minutes. Serve with Nature’s Choice Soya Sauce.
PREPARATION: 1cup rice to 2 ¼ cups water. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 50 minutes.
