Chia seeds are a concentrated food containing healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fibre, antioxidants, and calcium. When eaten whole they can also be easily absorbed by the body (unlike flaxseeds). They can be added to your diet in a variety of ways from mixing them into your mueslis, salads and baked goods to making a Chia “Pudding”.
